Four trees are down. 3 on West loop and 1 on East loop.
Be aware that one is head height and one is chest height.
The others require a small hike-a-bike.
Fast and dry the rest is.
Funny that you can smell the oak we cut yesterday well before you get to it.

Flow has been restored.
3hrs, 4 chain re-sharpenings, tank or two of gas, lotta sweat and thinking.
~100yr old oak 3ft in diameter finally off the trail.
So full of silica from growing in gravel some sparks were thrown.
Come-along winch necessary for the final stump.
Shout out to Dustin for spending part of his day running the saw for this AFTER first doing a 20+ mile gravel ride.

800-292-7800...This is the number to call OR text with photos and report electric motorcycles when you see them using our MTB trails.
They are not allowed and park rangers won't be able to keep up on enforcement.
Effectively the DNR 911 line billed as report all poaching but they informed me to use it in situations like this (and others it's not just for poaching).
They may then dispatch a Conservation Officer (CO) to the scene... equivalent of the DNR police.
E bikes are allowed.
E Motorcycles tearing up what there is of our burms and making loose dirt when should be hard pack.
It's like the 1970s all over again with cheap bikes that people think they can go anywhere they want.

Trails are mowed, fast and dry.
Couple of things to duck but easily seen.
Zero face slappers or ankle rippers.

East loop tread is about as wide and more dirt than I've ever seen it. Definitely PR setting conditions.
West loop is perfect too.

As of today the West loop has been cleared of down trees with exception of the big 3ft diameter one which requires hike a bike.

Trail is 99% dry West loop.
Few trees down including this big guy who is 3ft in diameter.
Many low hanging trees to duck under.
East loop unknown.
