Evening Presentations. After a great day on the water, and dinner by the one and only Bitters & Bones, our 'Evening Presentations' program is great way to continue learning, in a laid back and relaxed environment (often...with a beverage in hand!) One of the great things is, participant feedback leads to new presentations each year. Like Coach Andrew Jillings of leading 'Boat Packing for Overnight Trips.' Our longest standing presenter is DCATC Celeste Gabai and 'Wellness for Paddlers.' She celebrated 6 years in 2026 and she always gets a great crowd. Thank you to all of amazing presenters. 'Tour Monday' has been a part of the since it's inception. The goal is to give those who attended the 2 days of on water training, a way to get out and put their new skills to use. Often called, 'learning on the move,' it's a tour that allows Coaches to put some finishing touches on the work our students put in. This year, the Canoe and Pack Canoe tracks took on the 'Stoney Creek Ponds to the Crusher on the Raquette River.' This was an 11 mile paddle and took the group about 3:15 hours to complete. Thank you to St. Regis Canoe Outfitters and Adirondack Lakes and Trails Outfitters for supporting the Symposium, by setting our shuttle for this one-way Tour. Thanks to 6 year Coach (and our Friend) John Ozard for the GPS images.
