Congratulations to 8th grader and native SLP player, Kayla Harvey on making the 2026 Chipotle Mexican Grill-USA Hockey Girls Tier II National Championships All-Tournament team!

She was a co-captain on the 14U Canton Blades. Kayla had 6 goals and 2 assists at Nationals playing power forward while primarily a defenseman.

What a run for SLP varsity players Kayla Harvey and Harper Strack at the Tier II National Hockey Championships!

Their 14U Canton Blades Hockey went all the way to the national championship game and took the best team in the country (Minnesota Prospects) to a shootout. A group of girls from the North Country stood toe to toe with the number one team in the nation losing 6-5.

Join us this Sunday in supporting the 14U Canton Blades Hockey Team as they head to the USA Hockey National Championships! This is an incredible achievement by an amazing group of hard-working and talented young ladies.

Massive expenses are involved in getting an entire team to the Detroit, Michigan area, in addition to lodging and dining for nearly a week.

The 1892 Bar & Grille is committed to donating twenty-five percent of all sales from 12pm through close! Who wants to cook on Sunday anyway? Come have dinner and drinks with us and get involved in a fun way to support our local youth athletes!

The 1892 Bar & Grille will be sponsoring a cocktail (still perfecting) with all proceeds going to the Canton Blades. Additionally, there will be raffles and other fun ways to donate and win!

These girls have worked incredibly hard to make it to the national stage now let’s show them how much our amazing community supports them!
