Hi Everyone! I have great news to share. Thanks to the awesome efforts of our village DPW, we will begin the process of installing the new basketball systems at the park next week! Hopefully the process takes just a week for install, but either way it seems like we will have brand new hoops ready to go well before June! Be on the lookout for a story in the Enterprise in the coming weeks. Again, thanks to everyone for suppporting this cause. It’s always amazing to see what we can accomplish when we come together as one. Enjoy the weather and get ready to ball!

Hello Generous Donors and Basketball Enthusiasts,

It has been an up and down winter, but it looks like spring may finally be on the horizon, which means we are getting closer to the NEW HOOPS at our beloved park! Thank you again to those who donated/shared/liked or otherwise supported. The new systems are here in Saranac Lake all the way from Texas, safely stored with DPW and awaiting installation. By the time the newly elected local officials are sworn in, we should be free and clear of anymore snowstorms. I will then meet with our Village Board and Mayor Williams to discuss a plan for an install date. This has truly been a “takes a village” effort and a testament to the power of our community when we work together. Stay tuned for an update in early May on plans for install and other festivities (tentatively in June) to celebrate the decidedly different hoops at the park!
