🧤⚽️ A LITTLE EXTRA WORK BETWEEN THE POSTS! ⚽️🧤

Our Club goalkeepers had the opportunity to work with a University of Mobile goalkeeper, focusing specifically on the skills, techniques, and confidence needed between the posts. 🥅💪

And the best part? This will be happening every week!

From our youngest keepers pictured here to our older goalkeepers who were putting in the work too, we’re excited to give players of all ages dedicated time to develop in such an important and specialized position.

A huge THANK YOU to the University of Mobile Soccer program for investing their time and knowledge into our players. Opportunities like this are exactly what player development is all about. ❤️🖤

There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at SSA as we get ready for another great Fall Rec season!

👏 Our coaches have completed their coaching clinic
⚽ Player evaluations are complete
📝 Teams have officially been drafted

And now...it's almost time to find out who your coach and teammates will be! 🙌

Our coaches are all volunteers with jobs, families, and busy schedules, so please give them a little time as they begin reaching out to their teams. You’ll be hearing from them soon! (**Please give your coaches until Saturday morning to reach out.**)

Then it's time for the fun part...

⚽️🏆 TOURNAMENT TUESDAY! 🏆⚽️

Our first Tournament Tuesday at the University of Mobile is in the books — and what a fun addition to our weekly Club training! 🙌

Players competed in small-sided 3v3 games, giving them lots of touches on the ball, plenty of opportunities to work on their skills, and a little friendly competition mixed in along the way. 🔥⚽️

A very special THANK YOU to the University of Mobile Soccer team for setting everything up and refereeing the tournament! We are so grateful for their time and for giving our players the opportunity to learn, compete, and have some fun alongside college players they can look up to.

And as always, thank you to our SSA coaches for continuing to find ways to make training fun, competitive, and focused on player development. ❤️🖤
