SWAMA students and instructors have integrated numerous geographical locations throughout our state, our country and the world, establishing training locations and centers where the discipline and serious techniques are taught. At SWAMA, emphasis has always been placed upon excellence - excellence in personal discipline, excellence in physical achievements, excellence in academics, and excellence in martial art technique and fighting ability. At SWAMA, we are proud to present instruction in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Boxing and Kickboxing, Fitness, Health, Nutrition, as well as setting a standard for a high level of moral and personal attitudes and achievement. Our school has been called upon to provide rehabilitation for individuals injured in accidents, patients from a variety of medical and clinical treatment programs, as well as individuals needing assistance with weight loss, nutrition alternatives, confidence building and personal self defense. The SWAMA experience has been achieved in numerous lives, and is especially evident in the large numbers of young men and women, SWAMA students, who proudly serve in the United States Military Services - Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. As the Grand Master and Master Instructor for Southwestern Association of Martial Arts, I am extraordinarily proud of our student body, and the entire SWAMA family. Let’s continue to be the best!

All past & present students, friends and family of SWAMA please mark your calendars for our annual memorial hike in honor of Grandmaster James Wilson on Saturday February 10, 2024 at Cowles mountain, 6951 barker avenue location at 8am sharp.

This is always a SWAMA family reunion so even if you are unable to hike the entire way please plan on coming to fellowship with us 🥰 We meet at 8am, take a group photo, hike at your own leisure, do the 50 push ups at the top in our late instructors honor, then come back down the mountain.
