Helping athletes reach goals a stride at a time

West Coast Striders athlete & Rancho Cotate High School student athlete Aiden Cortner is putting in work during his track & field off-season fall training. Aiden had a PR season last spring as a junior. Now as a senior he is looking to keep the party going with more PR’s. Aiden will start his next spring track season as one of the top short sprinters on his high school track team. There is no limit for this dude.

West Coast Striders athlete & Maria Carrillo High School student athlete Alena Henkel is back for her track & field off-season fall training. Alena opened up in the 400m last winter as a sophomore for the first time in her career. Now as a junior she will start her next spring track season as the top female 400m runner on her high school track team. Big things to come for this young lady.

🏃‍♂️ From Rancho Cotate to the National Stage. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to Aiden Cortner, Rancho Cotate High School Senior 27’ and West Coast Striders sprinter, on qualifying for the 2026 USATF National Junior Olympics!

Aiden earned his spot as a member of the West Coast Striders Boys 4x100m Relay Team, which placed 3rd overall at the USATF Pacific Association Region 14 Junior Olympics Championships held at Monterey Peninsula College (June 25–28). Their podium finish secured both a 🥉 bronze medal and advancement to the National Junior Olympics.
