This week at CaliKicks Martial Arts Academy, we are celebrating all of our amazing dads by inviting them onto the mat to train alongside their children!
There is something truly special about seeing fathers and children learning, exercising, laughing, and growing together through martial arts. These moments create memories that last a lifetime while strengthening the bond between parent and child.
Thank you to all of the incredible dads who took time out of their busy schedules to join us this week. Your support, encouragement, and example mean the world to your children.

🥋🏆 USAT WEST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🏆🥋
What an incredible weekend for Team CaliKicks in Tucson, Arizona!
Our athletes demonstrated courage, discipline, and determination as they represented our academy on one of the biggest stages in regional competition.
🥇 Allan Lopez — Gold Medal, Cadet
🥈 Iker Pacheco — Silver Medal, Cadet World Class +65kg
🥉 Pedrito — Bronze Medal, Youth Poomsae Division
While not every athlete returned home with a medal, every athlete returned home with valuable experience, lessons learned, and motivation to continue growing.
A very special thank you goes to Master Chimi for her outstanding work coaching, mentoring, and guiding our athletes throughout the weekend. Your leadership, dedication, and commitment to our students continue to make a tremendous impact both on and off the competition floor.
We are proud of every member of Team CaliKicks.

An incredible night of learning, motivation, and high-level Taekwondo.
This weekend we had the honor of attending a special training session at Villas Taekwondo in Los Angeles with Olympic medalist Carlos Navarro, alongside Master Gus Villa and Damián Villa.
Our athletes and instructors were able to experience world-class training, gain valuable knowledge, and share the mat with some of the greatest representatives of Mexican Taekwondo.
We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn from legends who continue inspiring athletes around the world through their dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport.
Thank you to Villas Taekwondo for hosting such an amazing event.
Experiences like this motivate us to continue growing and striving for excellence every day. 🥋🇲🇽🔥

Preparedness saves lives. ❤️
This Tuesday, we welcomed Nuestra Comunidad (NC) to CaliKicks Martial Arts Academy for an important Disaster Preparedness Presentation for our families and students.
After experiencing the 2017 fires and seeing our community come together during such difficult times, we understand how important it is to be prepared for emergencies.
Knowing what to do, who to call, and having emergency supplies ready at home can make a huge difference.
Thank you Nuestra Comunidad for sharing valuable knowledge and helping strengthen our community.
Preparing today can make a great difference tomorrow. 🙏🔥

This weekend two of our athletes represented CaliKicks Martial Arts Academy at the Nevada State Taekwondo Championships with outstanding performances. 🥋🔥
🥈Omar García earned Silver Medal in the Junior World Class Division
🥇 Allan Lopez earned Gold Medal in the Cadet Division
Both athletes competed under the coaching of Master Chimi, and we are extremely proud of their hard work, discipline, and determination on the mat.
Next stop: Arizona Regionals… and then on the road to Nationals. 🇺🇸🔥
Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and supporters who continue believing in our athletes and our program. The journey continues!

This week at CaliKicks, we had the honor of watching so many amazing moms step onto the mat and train alongside their children. From laughter and smiles to kicks and teamwork, it was a beautiful reminder that martial arts is more than training… it’s family. 🥋
Thank you to all the mothers who support, encourage, sacrifice, and inspire every single day. Your love and strength help shape the future of our students both on and off the mat.

What a truly magical and unforgettable night ✨
Last Sunday, December 14, we celebrated our Christmas Dinner, Awards Night, and Black Belt Ceremony surrounded by our amazing CaliKicks families.
Over 30 students were recognized for their academic achievement, honoring their dedication to excellence both on and off the mat.
We proudly awarded the Five Tenets of Taekwondo medals to two exemplary students who truly represent our values.
We also presented the Community Service Award to Julio Cáceres, in recognition of his many years of service to our community.
This year, we celebrated 3 students earning their 2nd Dan Kukkiwon certification and 5 students earning their 1st Dan, along with recognizing 11 State Champions and 5 National Champions, who received special certificate awards for their outstanding achievements.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents and families who joined us, and a very special thank you to Grand Master Choi for honoring us with her presence.
This night was a true reflection of hard work, discipline, family, and community. 💙🥋

Una noche verdaderamente mágica e inolvidable ✨
El pasado domingo 14 de diciembre celebramos nuestra Cena Navideña, Noche de Reconocimientos y Ceremonia de Cintas Negras, acompañados de nuestras increíbles familias de CaliKicks.
Más de 30 estudiantes recibieron reconocimientos académicos por su excelente desempeño escolar, demostrando que el éxito comienza dentro y fuera del tatami.
Otorgamos la medalla de los Cinco Principios del Taekwondo a dos estudiantes ejemplares que representan nuestros valores.
También entregamos el Reconocimiento de Servicio Comunitario a Julio Cáceres, por sus muchos años de servicio a nuestra comunidad.
Este año celebramos a 3 estudiantes que obtuvieron su 2º Dan Kukkiwon y 5 estudiantes su 1º Dan, además de reconocer a nuestros 11 Campeones Estatales y 5 Campeones Nacionales, quienes recibieron certificados especiales por sus logros.
Gracias de corazón a todos los padres de familia que nos acompañaron y un agradecimiento muy especial a Grand Master Choi por honrarnos con su presencia.
Fue una noche llena de orgullo, disciplina, familia y comunidad. 💙🥋
