At Kicks, our instructors come from different styles of traditional martial arts, but have two important things in common: They are both great martial artists and great people, inside and outside of the karate school. It is not us against them, but instead, all of us coming together to learn from each other with a love for martial arts at the center of it all. Kicks Martial Arts has its own uniqu
e curriculum made up of a modern twist on tradition technique flows, or forms, sparring, drills, and games that focus on building strength, focus, endurance, balance, and flexibility. At Kicks, instructors help students learn more than just kicking and punching. They teach them to be brave, to never give up, to pay attention, to treat others the way they would like to be treated, and to do the right thing, even if no one is watching. Kicks is a school that understands that each child, teenager, and adult is different, and knows that the best training for each person is as different and unique as they are. We are a school that doesnโt hand out black belts easily, but that helps each student achieve their own best, not the best of the person next to them. Every person learns, moves, and thinks differently. At Kicks, we want to help you find the best version of yourself that you can be. Kicks is a school where itโs ok to ask questions. Kicks is a school where the students know their instructors care about them, and want them to succeed inside and outside of the karate school. Kicks is a school that expects excellence, discipline, and respect, but also remembers that we are here because karate is fun! Kicks is a school where students learn to be strong in their body and in their mind. Kicks is a school where being a martial artist doesnโt end in the class, but is something the student lives every day, in practice and in attitude at school and at home. Kicks is a school that celebrates that we are all made unique, that we all matter, and that together, we can create something more awesome than we could ever do by ourselves.
