Congratulation to our Orioles winning the South Walton Ozone Division Championship!
Bo was strong on the mound and Danny came in to close it out. It was a great day for our hitters who came up big in the clutch! Caden Bennet had a huge rip to drive in 2 runs late in the game. Bo Had a monster smash in the gap. Grayton had 2 huge hits for us. Caden Bridgeman had a big hit and a huge pickoff tag thrown by Danny to get the 2nd out of the last inning. Alex was clutch with a big rbi hit and Noah Baker drove in a run with a huge hit. Judah had a big hit in the 5th and scored a run. Noah and Bo made a pretty throw down play to get the final out at the plate.
What a great season! I'm very proud of these boys for battling back through deficits in every playoff game.

Wow what a finish to the season! After a humiliating defeat on Friday night, our boys bounced back in Saturday. The first game we came out swinging! Huge hits by Caden Bennett, Noah Baker and Noah Price in the first inning, then great aggressive base running and a couple timely hits by Alex Moody and Caden Bennett in the second had us out to a big 7-3 lead. Then the bats went quiet and so did our gloves and we let them come back to tie the game. We made some great defensive plays in the end to preserve the tie. Bo Potter was solid on the mound going all 6 innings and striking out 9!
The second game was a much different game. With Danny Matacchiero on the mound, the defense was stellar. Noah Baker was like a vacuum on 3rd, Noah Price had a great play on second and Caden Bridgeman was a stretching machine playing first that turned a couple close calls into outs. It was a 1-0 game after 2 and then a 9 run 3rd broke it open. George Bailey, Alex, Bo, Noah Baker, and Danny all singled and scored in a huge offensive inning. Danny closed it out with 2 strike outs in the last inning after giving up his only 2 hits and a run to Otter and Lucas. Final score Orioles 10 Sam 1.
Congratulations to our boys who were very resilient this season. We finished the regular season 11-6-1 and in first place!
With the #1 seed, we play the winner of Wes vs Sam who play Monday night. That game will be played on Wednesday.

Game Night! On the road to Shalimar!

We are in the home stretch! It's the last week of the season with 3 games left. 2 of the last 3 are against Labastie who is in second place. Time to focus and bring home the #1 playoff seed!

Big win tonight vs Shalimar! After a shaky 2nd inning, our boys pulled it together. With some great base running and hustle we managed to score enough runs to give Bo a lead that he didn't relinquish. Noah Baker did a nice job behind the plate tonight and we had a couple of nice pick off plays to get huge outs at opportune times. Our boys did a great job on the base paths as we were able to take full advantage of Shalimar mistakes.
Orioles 7 Shalimar 5. Next up is Baker tomorrow at 3. Great job Orioles!
