It all came down to a tie-breaker and Kamran fought back and battled to the end losing just 9-7 in the tie-breaker.

Amazing run for a 10 year old who had no ranking 13 months ago when he started with Coach Jason "JD" DeCosta and who will now be in the top 10. Coach Steve gave Kamran the best one handed back-hand in the 10's and Coach JD gave him the best comprehension of how the game of tennis really works...like a mix of Chess & Boxing.

Great year Kamran! Congrats to you and your wonderful family!

Kamran makes it to the FINALS of the USTA Masters at the Stub Hub Center. He won the semis 64 61
and plays the finals 230pm today versus the #1 seed.

Kamran was unseeded and will be ranked top 10 in S. Calif if he wins the finals.

Kamran has made the semi-finals of the USTA Boys 10's year end Masters. He will be playing at the Stub Hub center with a chair umpire this Monday Jan 18th at 1030am.

Coach Jason's student Kamran won his first open tournmanet 10 yr. olds. In the final he beat a giant top ranked junior from Santa Barbara!

Coach Jason (JD) had two of his students in the finals of the Boys 10's Beverly Hills tournament. It was a close and hard fought battle. Both Kamran and Andy battled each other for 3 sets. Andy was going for his 2nd tournament win in a row and Kamran was trying to keep his 15 match winning streak in tact.
Kamran ended up with the win: 67 63 10-8

When we started in the summer with Mia, she was a JV high school player. Now, she currently plays #3 on the varsity team and has taken a set off the #1 player on her team. GO MIA!
