John Baum surf boards have a low-entry rocker to maintain speed, a wide point forward to engage more of the rail, and an accelerated tail rocker so you can lean back and pivot the board when you need to. incredibly well, and stay centered beneath you. Several models and styles are available, as well as custom designs. John Baum has been surfing since age 9. As a local in the Santa Monica, Venice, and Ocean Park surfing scene during the 1960's and 1970's, John surfed for the Zephyr surf team and has traveled the world searching for the perfect wave. Surfing Designs by John Baum began in 1985, originally as Wyld Thing Surf Boards, and later as Rank Dog Fart Surf Boards. Today Surfing Designs by John Baum aims to make you the best boards in the world.
