🌅🤿 There’s something different about surfacing into the sunshine after a dawn dive.

You drop while the island is still waking up, spend the morning underwater, and then break the surface to blue sky and Catalina glowing in the sun. ☀️🌊 It’s one of those transitions that never really gets old—the quiet underwater world behind you and an entirely new day waiting on the surface.

🌎 Dawn is also a good reminder that we’re visitors out there. Wildlife activity changes throughout the day, so give animals space, maintain good buoyancy, and enjoy whatever happens to be waking up alongside you. 🐟🌿

🥂🌴 Last night aboard Arenui — Borneo in the books. 🤿🌊 What better way to finish a dive trip than a party on deck with the people you’ve spent the week diving, eating, laughing, and exploring with? The diving gets you on the plane, but trips like this are rarely remembered only for what happened underwater. Somewhere between the first briefing and the final night, a boat full of divers and crew turns into a community. And judging by these photos, nobody was quite ready for this one to end. 😂🤍

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to get back aboard. In February, we’re returning to Arenui—but this time we’re heading to Raja Ampat. 🇮🇩🐠 Raja Ampat sits at the heart of the Coral Triangle and is famous for extraordinary marine biodiversity, huge schools of fish, manta encounters, and spectacular reefs. Enriched Air/Nitrox is one of the most useful certifications for a liveaboard itinerary. When you’re doing multiple dives day after day, understanding oxygen exposure, MOD, analyzing your own gas, and properly setting your computer becomes part of being a more capable traveling diver. 🧠🤿 ✈️🎒

🌴 Next stop aboard Arenui: Raja Ampat — February 2027. New reefs, new adventure, same boat…and hopefully another final night worth remembering. 🥂🚢🤿

🌊🎶 What’s your favorite boat song? 🤿☀️

There’s a very specific kind of peace that happens when your dive is done, the gear is off, and you’re stretched out on the boat waiting for the rest of the divers to come back up. Sunshine, open water, something good playing over the speakers, and absolutely nowhere you need to be until the bubbles start appearing. 😎🚤 Sometimes the surface interval is almost as good as the dive. And whether we’re anchored over Catalina or halfway around the world, taking care of the ocean means keeping everything secured onboard and making sure nothing—not even a tiny piece of trash—ends up over the side. 🌎♻️
