The last time I hosted a Nidra evening, 20 mats sold out before I finished talking about it. 🌙

So this time I’m being more intentional about who’s in the room.

June 10th. . 40 spots.

Here’s what makes this different from any yoga class you’ve been to:
We start with cava.
Not as a party trick, but because cava is a heart opener. And Yoga Nidra works from the heart. Your Sankalpa (the deepest intention your practice is built around) lives there. 🤍 You can’t access it from your head. You can’t think your way into it.

The cava softens you.
The red light grounds you.
And then we go deep.

I’ve been away from teaching Nidra publicly for two years. This is my re-entry. I’m not easing back in.

40 people. $50. Link in bio.
Who’s been waiting for something like this? 👇

My mom flew in from Portland so Ben and I could do this!
She took Sunny on her school campout up in Malibu while we headed to . We packed two cars. It was chaos. And it was worth every second 😝

This was my third time teaching at LIB, and the first time bringing into the family zone. Three kids classes. Hundreds of little humans moving every joint in their bodies, playing, laughing, connecting. There was an 8-year-old DJ 🤯 was on the slack line helping kids cross. At one point wrestled with a very sexy MMA fighter. It was pure, unhinged joy.

Our main adult class had 100+ people moving together in the middle of a festival. I wasn’t even the main teacher this time — held it down — and I got to just be the hype girl. Turns out that’s one of my favorite roles!!!

I also snuck into my friend Donovan’s class and got completely wrecked in the best way. He reminded me: I am the gatekeeper of what I let into my body and my mind. That one’s going to stay with me. 💞

Oh, and every morning around 5am, the camp next to us would just be getting started. Full DJ set. Dancing. Absolutely zero chill. By day two I stopped fighting it and just surrendered to the chaos. (Next time: RV. Non-negotiable. 😂)

This is what Primal Moves is. Not just movement. Connection. Joy. Every joint. Every age. Every version of yourself that shows up.

Thank you LIB. Thank you to my amazing team. Thank you Ben. And thank you — you’re the reason any of this is possible. 🖤

Have you ever taught or practiced at a festival?

Two years ago I stopped teaching Yoga Nidra.

Here’s the real reason why:
We were living in Portland. Sunny was almost 3. And we were barely surviving!!! I was exhausted in a way that sleep never fixed, brain fog that wouldn’t lift, bodies that felt like they were running on empty no matter what we did.

We thought we were just tired new parents.
We weren’t. Our house had toxic mold. And it was slowly making us very, very sick.

I stopped filming for my app. I stopped posting here on social. I stopped teaching. I stepped away from almost everything I’d built, because I had nothing left to give.

When your nervous system is in survival mode, there is no teaching. There is no content. There is no “showing up.” There is only getting through the day.

We got out. We healed. We came home to Venice and gave me a place to rebuild - slowly, honestly, on my own terms.

And now I’m coming back to Yoga Nidra. 🤍 The practice I believe more than ever is one of the most powerful tools for nervous system healing we have access to.
More soon on this soon ☺️

Have you or someone you love dealt with mold toxicity or mystery illness? I’d love to hear from you below 👇🏻

put me on their Best Bodies list in 2014.

I was quietly destroying my spine.

At the time I was modeling for and doing wild backbends for Alo Yoga.
I was performing my flexibility.
From the outside my body looked like peak health.
From the inside my spine was slowing unraveling.

Then I became a mom. 🌞
Slowed waaaaaaaay down.
And the pain I’d been outrunning finally caught me.

Flash forward: Nearly a year into changed that… not by pushing harder, but by training smarter.

This handstand (gaze dropped, controlled) is something I couldn’t do at my “fittest.” I’m doing it now. At 41. After a baby. After the injury.

The body they called “best” couldn’t do what this body can!

Longevity > aesthetics.
Every single time.

What are you rebuilding? ↓

Today is a very special birthday! 🎂

If you’ve been following the “relay race” that is my life lately, you know that keeping it all together takes a serious village.

Sophie is the foundation of mine!

She’s the one who gets the voice notes when the startup energy is peaking, the one who’s been there for the “whiplash” of traveling for work and coming home to solo-parenting, and one of the very few people that I’d happily spend my last bit of daily bandwidth on.

Swipe for a decade of us growing into ourselves and our friendship in all its many iterations. 🥰

Love you, .jaffe 💘.
Thanks for being a constant rhythm in the middle of all this beautiful noise that is our life! 🌊🤍

Landed LATE Monday night from Miami after at sea, had one full day of “normal” with the family / at work, and this morning Ben is out the door for a week. 😵‍💫

This is our start-up-parent relay race.
We don’t really get the long, slow reunions…
it’s a literal high-five in the hallway as we trade the baton with less than 48 hours in each others presence for two whole weeks.

I take the reins and solo-mom duty; he takes the flight to build his dream company.

The re-entry whiplash is SO real, AND we’re both all in.
His suitcase is packed, mine is half unpacked, and the matcha is already brewing.
Tag, I’m it. 🏃‍♀️💨

WOW.

Thank y’all for welcoming us on board with open arms!
What a weekend.

Inspired. Loved. Well danced. And excited to have made so many new amazing friends! Hope to see you again next year. If not before at 💋

Still got it. 🤸‍♀️
I haven’t posted on IG because I didn’t have the output left in me! Trying to document your life is HARD when you’re just trying to hold it all together.

Between , being “Mama,” and the energy it takes for Ben and I to both run startups and not just become ships in the night... trying to “capture a moment” felt like another chore on a list that never ends.

I don’t want to perform my life. I just want to live it.
And I realized I missed this. I missed the version of me that likes to play and share the beautiful, the not so cute, and the utter chaos with you.

I really love this life, even when I’m too tired to post about it. (Swipe to the end to see me panicking to my strategist (aka bestie) about how to even do this anymore).

Good to be back. 🌊🙃✨

I’ve been super quiet on here lately…just leaning into the beautiful, messy juggle of building / and being present for Sunny bunny (🌞🐰)

I keep reminding myself that balance isn’t a destination; it’s an active practice. Sometimes it looks like a handstand in the gym, and sometimes it’s just trying to find my laptop charger in a sea of toys or the overflowing lost and found bin 😬

Decided to drop back in and start sharing the BTS of it all again. The business, the mom life, and the little things keeping me sane. Good to be back. ✨
