Metros Week 3 Heart of the Dragon 🐉

• Where are you from: Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts
• Who did you play footy for: Have only been a Dragon, but I did play D1 Rugby with Old Blue and Stonybrook University
• Position: Hasn’t been solidified yet but I feel like a midfielder - I have an attacking mentality
• What brought you to LA: My wife, she is a surgeon at USC
• What do you enjoy most about being part of the Dragons: I love Dragons, sick animal! But the great vibes of the team have kept me coming back, I’m enjoying the Aussie shenanigans

TRAINING: weekly on Wednesdays, 7PM at Westchester Rec Reserve - 9045 Lincoln Blvd, Los Angeles

All welcome to join, just bring your cleats if you have them and water.

METROS: Sunday May 3rd and 17th, 2PM kick off at Penmar Park - 1314 Lake St, Venice

Then we’re in to season proper with RDC in Santa Barbara and SoCal Cup 1 in San Siego both in the calendar 📆

What brought you to LA: A work opportunity, or more accurately the 5 North from San Diego

Hicksey has already made his mark bringing structure, discipline and a solid recruiting drive to the team for the 2026 season. We’re excited to have his experience on board for a successful year 🙌🏼
