And as a mom, my why is bigger than me. I want my kids to see that strength is built, not given. That food is fuel, not punishment. That confidence comes from the inside out. I want them to grow up knowing that their bodies are not projects to be fixed, but instruments to be celebrated. That discipline isn’t about perfection, it’s about showing up for yourself even when it’s hard. That health isn’t a number on a scale, but the energy, joy, and resilience you bring into each day. If they can watch me chase strength instead of ‘skinny,’ and treat myself with respect instead of criticism, then maybe they’ll inherit not just my habits, but my self-worth. 📸
