It's still raining... so, who's up for some shopping??? After the last discussion of bits I thought I'd do another recommendation of a product that I love. No rule changes, this time!
I look for things that are good quality and also budget friendly. I mean who knows when that next vet bill is coming, am I right?
Anyway, these Compositi stirrups are my favorite. They come in all kinds of colors, I have blue, burgundy, and boring black. If you worry about looking "too busy" in the saddle, the fact that they are black, mutes the visible movement of your feet in motion vs the usual chrome stirrups. They are super lightweight, which makes a huge difference in the weight of your saddle! At $54, they don't break the bank.
I have to say that I have been looking into passive income streams... and, I have signed up as an Amazon Associate, so I will earn a tiny commission from qualifying purchases. I'm pretty sure I won't be retiring on this idea, but it's an interesting concept to simply share my expertise with my friends.

I love a French link snaffle for the "wrap around" the tongue and not poking up into the palette like a single jointed snaffle, right? But, the French "hourglass" link is no longer legal to use in the show ring. So, I'm sharing my favorite alternative with the legal "football" link. This has been a great choice for both young horses getting started under saddle and seasoned dressage horses. Here's the link!
