Hey Everyone,
As I am sure you have all seen and/or heard, SMKA has resurfaced the track and even removed and replaced parts of it. They are also in the midst of doing a LOT of improvements to the surrounding area including the parking/pit area, bleachers and more. As excited as we are about the improvements, we are also working out of an abundance of caution for our riders and looking to see what the new surface brings. That being said, and with a mind toward safety, we are postponing our Motorcycle Only days at least through the summer to not only let the track come around but to also assess impacts of motorcycles and karts on the surface. The track has always been notoriously slick for motorcycles and with this new surface, having no rubber and no wear on it, it is only going to enhance that issue. Over the next 4-6 months, with the kart club doing multiple races and outside karting events coming in as well, it is our hope the new surface becomes better than ever. As always, we will keep all of you updated with how things are going. Ryan and I will periodically walk the track and take photos to assess the track to see how the surface is shaping up. We know this will be a disappointment for all of our riders, as it is for us as well, however this is what we feel is going to be best for motorcycles and to keep everyone safe for future events. With all of this about the track surface being said, we will continue enforcing the use of foot peg sliders and will be an absolute requirement for this track. No sliders, no riding. If you have any questions about where to get them or what can be used, please contact us for guidance. Please share this with friends and family that might not be on this mailing list or might not be on social media. We appreciate all your support over the years and we will see you all after our summer break.

Hey Everyone,
Unfortunately, our February 14th Motorcycle Only Track Day has been cancelled. The Karting Association is doing some track construction, repaving, and repairs and don't anticipate it being finished in time for our track day. With that said, our next track day will be Saturday, March 14th. Please let everyone know. If you know riders that are not on this email list or do not have Facebook, please let them know that February's event has been cancelled. I would hate to see someone make the drive here only to get to a locked gate. We look forward to the updates at the facility and will let you guys know if there are any other date changes that may occur. Until then, ride safe out there and we will see you all in March!

Hey Everyone!
Happy New Year!! Looks like we are off to a soggy start with weather but I am keeping my fingers crossed that our first track day of the year will be dry. As of right now we are looking at 56 degrees and partly cloudy. We are excited to be at it again this year but I do want people to be aware that some of the dates that were accepted are not on the second Saturday.

Here are the dates that are different:
April 4th (first Saturday)
June 6 (first Saturday)
August 29 (fifth Saturday)
As a reminder, all of our dates are subject to change due to karting association scheduling but we will advise if that occurs.

I hope everyone is doing well and we will see you back at the track this year!

Our last track day for 2025 is coming up this Saturday! As of right now it's showing a high of 65 and some clouds but that's not going to scare us. I hope to see everyone out there!

Are you guys ready for the track this weekend? This is our odd month but we will be back on schedule next month. The forecast is looking at 73 degrees and partly cloudy. Perfect if you ask me! Hope everyone is doing well. Stay safe out there and we'll see you at the track!

Hey Everyone!
Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend and still have all your limbs! Can you guys believe we are already in July??? This weekend's track day is looking pretty good with 74 degrees and sunny conditions.

Two things I'd like to mention; 1) Don't forget that August's track day is on the third weekend of the month. It will be August 16th. Hey Everyone!
Our next track day is coming up and so far the weather is looking pretty good and calling for 73 degrees. Perfect weather for the Central Coast.

Ryan and I would like to mention that we are no longer going to allow "day of" use of our bikes any longer. If someone would like to use one of our bikes for the track day, we need to know at least 3 days before the track day so that we can make sure that it is loaded up in the truck for that person that requests it. If you would like to get training with the mini bikes, please contact Mack as he has a wider variety of bikes to choose from, but just know that if you are going to use one of Mack's bikes, you will be doing training with him as well. He does not just rent bikes. Please make sure to contact Mack at least 1 week before the event with questions about training. [email protected] is his email or give him a call at 805-440-8533.
