Santa Fe Little League Softball is celebrating an incredible opportunity made possible by Coach G Dennis Hernandez and the Capital High School Softball program.

In a time when resources are tight, Dennis volunteered his program without hesitation — offering a free softball skills clinic that gave our players high‑level instruction, confidence, and a glimpse of what’s possible when a community invests in its youth.

For more than 15 years, Dennis has been a cornerstone of Santa Fe softball, shaping athletes and strengthening the sport we all love. The clinic wasn’t just generous — it was impactful. It elevated our program.

To the coaches and players of Capital: thank you for giving our girls a day they won’t forget.

We’re recognizing baseball, softball, and Challenger Division coaches who inspire players on and off the field. Winners receive a $5,000 grant to support their league’s initiatives.
