Please pray for her family, our students, and the coaches.
Jaguar Family, It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Coach Alexia Verdugo, a beloved member of the Capital community and a cherished part of our basketball and volleyball coaching staffs.
Coach Ale was a bright light. She illuminated the lives of her players and everyone she touched with her energy, care, and love for this school.
Please keep her family and our entire Capital community in your prayers as we navigate this unexpected tragedy, letβs respect their wishes and requests during this time of grief.
We will share more in the days ahead as we honor her life together.
As a family, we must come together and support one another through this incredibly difficult time. Please know that you are not alone. This is a tremendous lossβnot only for our team and our school, but for our entire community.
If any of you need support, someone to talk to, or anything at all, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here for one another.
As we receive more information and guidance from administration, we will communicate available resources and our plan moving forward. We know this is an extremely difficult time, and we will take the time needed to evaluate and make the best decisions for our team.
We will move forward together, supporting each other and honoring the memory and impact of Coach Ale.
