🚨 WEATHER UPDATE 🚨

Due to inclement weather, SAC Camp and all other athletic camps scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled.

Additionally, SFISD will be closed tomorrow.

The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority. Please stay safe, and we will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.

Due to expected heavy rain and the risk of flooding, Santa Fe ISD will be closed on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

This closure includes ESY, Credit Recovery, all athletic camps, and Creative Explorers. Students scheduled to take an EOC or STAAR exam will be rescheduled. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel.

We plan to resume normal operations on Thursday, June 18th. Please continue to check the district website, ParentSquare, and social media for updates.

💪 Week 1 of Strength & Conditioning Camp is officially in the books! 💪

What a great start to the summer. Our athletes showed up every day ready to work, compete, and get better. The energy, effort, and commitment has been outstanding as we continue building a stronger team and culture.

Thank you to all of the athletes who have been putting in the work. Keep showing up, keep pushing each other, and keep bringing the energy. This is just the beginning!

Week 2 starts now—let’s keep stacking days and getting better together.

🥎💙 Investing in Student Athletes. Strengthening a Program. Building for the Future. 💙🥎

Thanks to an Illumination Award submitted by Coach Andrew "Coach Whit" Whittington, Santa Fe High School softball athletes now have access to equipment that is making an impact every day on the field.

The grant provided new pitching and hitting mats, along with resistance bands that support arm strength development and proper arm care. These resources have quickly become an important part of the team's daily training and preparation.

Today, athletes are benefiting from:
🥎 Two new hitting mats in the batting cages
🥎 Two new pitching mats in the bullpen
🥎 18 resistance bands so every player has access to their own during warmups and training

Not only are these resources helping athletes improve their skills and performance, but they are also helping protect facilities, preserve newly installed turf, and support long-term player development.

Coach Whit shared that his athletes immediately embraced the new equipment, and the impact has been felt throughout the program.

✨ This is what happens when innovative educators and coaches identify a need and our community steps up to help meet it.
