Hello Friends. It has been some time, I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to bring you some very exciting and long anticipated news. Archery classes are back in Santa Cruz! Starting in May, with full support from the Santa Cruz archery range, I will once again be offering a Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and Adult Archery Development (AAP) Program!

JOAD and AAP are unique year-round programs that give students an opportunity to develop their archery skills at any level. As part of JOAD and AAP, archers learn proper shooting technique, range safety, equipment set up and maintenance, archery etiquette, official scoring rules, essential competition skills and much, much more. JOAD and AAP include an Achievement Award Program that provides archers a pathway to progress by earning “star pins” for benchmarks achieved by the student.

During my time away, I studied under and trained with Olympic Coach Dick Tone and Olympic Coach Kisik Lee. I received my USA Archery level 4 NTS coaching certificate and helped three youth archers make it onto the United States archery team to represent the U.S. at national and international competitions.

I am very excited to be back home and offer my expert coaching services as part of the only program of its kind in Santa Cruz! I hope you will consider signing up and taking this important step in achieving your archery goals.

Hello Friends!

Some exciting news, I have just returned to Santa Cruz from a three year stay in Lancaster PA.

While in Lancaster, I worked for Lancaster Archery Supply (LAS) as a TechExpert and bow technician in the pro shop as well as a coach for both the LAS academy and JOAD programs. The LAS academy JOAD Coaching staff worked with many talented young archers including Casey Kaufhold.

Additionally while there, I got to work one on one with Coach Richard Tone to become proficient in both shooting and teaching Coach Tone’s “Natural Shot” archery form.

Now back in Santa Cruz, I am elated to be home and looking forward to working with my new and returning students!

ATTENTION STRING BUILDERS!

FREE string stretching jig!
If you build your own strings, Flemish or endless loop, this is a must have tool. You can pre stretch your strings to over 600 lbs of force. Keep them under pressure while you serve to keep the serving tight, and consistent. The jig also makes installing tie on silencers a breeze!

The jig is approx 8’ long
