Kiteboarding legend and icon, has single-handedly pushed every boundary in windsports . . . . but today he needs your help!

On Saturday, November 26th, Brandon clipped a tree with his paragliding wing, suffering a collapse that sent him cartwheeling down a 500-foot cliff near his home in Hood River, OR. With perseverance and luck, he was med-vac’d to Vancouver where he underwent significant surgical intervention.

This week we said goodbye to our friend Buck Noe, a prodigious shaper and ripper in the Santa Cruz surfing and kitesurfing scenes. We celebrate his memory by looking back at the story we wrote about Buck in our Summer 2016 issue. We will never forget his classic backside hacks, his influential shapes and his soulful and authentic camaraderie in the hunt for both waves and wind.

In between seeking out surf, stepping into fatherhood and continuing the family legacy, Buck Noe is cultivating the crossover from waves to wind.
