Kneeling sprint starts = first-step power.
In softball, the first 2–3 steps decide everything:
exploding out of the box
getting a better jump on a steal
winning the first move to the ball on defense
Starting from the knees takes away momentum and forces true power + projection from zero—so every rep is about intent, force, and getting to top speed faster in short distances.
The same is true for any sport that lives in those first few explosive steps—football, soccer, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, and more
