Canyons Aquatic Club Canyons Aquatic Club Canyons Aquatic Club is a USA Swimming Silver Medal club. We not only coach competitive swimmers, we even offer swim lessons.

We are based out of College Of The Canyons and also swim at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center. Canyons swimmers have competed at every level from novice meets to the Olympics. Canyons is a 501c3 non-profit organiztion

What a great way to kick off our first meet of the season! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️ And behind every successful meet is a team of incredible volunteers who make it all happen.

Our Canyons parents are truly the backbone of our club. From the early mornings to the long hours, your time, energy, and dedication make such a difference. Because of you, our swimmers get to compete, have fun, make memories, and enjoy a positive experience both in and out of the pool. 💙

🌟 This week, meet Brooklyn Allison!

Brooklyn swims in Challenge 2, competes in the 11–12 Girls age group, and her favorite stroke is backstroke!

One of her favorite Canyons memories came at Coastal Champs, when she was called up as an alternate for the 50 Back — and made the most of the opportunity by swimming her fastest 50 Back ever AND placing in the event! 🏊‍♀️🔥

🌟 This week, meet Laila Inglish!
Laila swims in Challenge 2 and competes in the 9–10 Girls age group. She’s already had some pretty exciting moments in the pool, including being selected to swim on a relay at the Elite Age Group Championships last season! 🏊‍♀️👏
But one of Laila’s favorite Canyons memories has nothing to do with times or finishes — it’s the supportive hugs from her friends after every race. 💙
And THAT is what being part of a team is all about!

Canyons Aquatic Club is looking for a local business to partner with us as a Championship Sponsor for our upcoming Championship Meets! 🏊‍♀️🏆
A $1,200 sponsorship will help provide championship T-shirts and caps for our swimmers — while giving your business some great exposure within the Canyons community and throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.

✨ Championship Sponsors receive:
• Your business logo on the sleeve of every championship T-shirt
• PA recognition at our November and May meets, each bringing 1,000+ visitors to the Santa Clarita Valley
• A direct link to your business on the Canyons website

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, COACH MIKE! 💙💛
We’re proud to announce that Mike Bechtholdt has been named Head Coach of Canyons Aquatic Club! 🏊‍♂️👏
🏆 Coach Mike has already been an important leader within our program, leading Canyons to numerous Age Group Championship titles and helping swimmers at every level reach exciting new milestones. Under his guidance, our senior swimmers competed at Futures and Junior Nationals this past summer, and many of his athletes have earned their place on Canyons’ Top 10 lists.
His commitment to our swimmers, coaches, and the continued growth of Canyons makes him a natural fit to lead our competitive swimming programs forward.
As Head Coach, Mike will provide leadership and direction for our coaching staff and athlete development across all levels of the Club. We’re excited for the energy, stability, and vision he brings to this next chapter for Canyons.
