Kratos Fitness
Building human powered machines
Why do we say we build human powered machines? We say this because our exercise programs are designed using small bits of training aspects from different realms of training and putting them together to create a fitness class anyone can take. We do this by creating a work at your on pace work outs. Whether you’re a stay at home mom who hasn’t worked
out in years or a gym rat who still will get a great work out! Our functional fitness approach to training combines strength & conditioning, power/explosive training, reaction/speed/agility training, aerobic/cardiovascular training into an interval training circuit while making you less prone to injury as well as more flexible and mobile. This is why we say building human powered machines because all this training makes for a well balanced, faster, stronger, and most of all healthier human! No Fancy Gym! All of our Kratos Classes are not held at a gym, there will be no machines. If our goal is to make you a healthier and stronger in a more functional way by not using machines or stationary equipment, but instead we will use movements found in real life such as lunges (walking up stairs), squats (sitting down), pushing, pulling, hinging (bending at the hips), and rotating. Strengthening and balancing these muscles has a noticeable transfer into real life. Soon you will find yourself not only taking the stairs but running up them, parking further just to get the extra walk in, and having more overall energy! Our Name
We named our training camp Kratos for a reason. Kratos was the Greek God of strength, power, and might. He was said to be one or four of the angelic winged enforcers whom stood among the heavenly throne of Zeus. We hope anyone who trains with us at Kratos Fitness will embody these characteristic of strength, power and might to prevail and conquer any of their fitness goals! The Trainers:
We, Danny and Amanda, have been together since junior high. We have been through all walks of life together, anywhere from being crazy kids, to now raising a family together. After having our daughter, Robbi, we both had gained a nominal amount of weight. And, together, we decided we needed to lose the weight and get back into shape, and we did! We have been on an intense work out venture for about 2 years now. We have, also, become very involved in the OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) community. We have run numerous OCR this past year and will be continuing through this year as Elite Spartan Race runners. We understand how hard it can be to stay motivated, because we have been there!
