Happy New Year!
Just a quick note to catch everyone up from the Winter Break. First of all we have had a few players leave the team. Mason, Garret and Jaden have all decided to not play anymore for the Bomb Squad 9U team. This is to be expected in club ball and should not be alarming to the team. They each had their reasons for leaving and we wish them the best in their future endeavors. Secondly this roster change has caused us to not participate in the MLK tournament in January, since we cannot fill a roster for the second day of the tournament. Coach Chris and I are looking at a few additional 9U age players to fill in these spots for the next tournament. Right now we have two boys that are interested and have contacted us in trying out that are 9U age with two/three others in the “rumor” mill that might be interested, but just haven’t reached out directly to me, but have through Mike Smith or others. If any of you know of any 9U boys that are looking to join a great Bomb Squad team please let me know and we’ll invite them to practices to have them tryout and get more information on the team and see how they fit. With the change of us not playing in the MLK tournament the practice schedule has to be revamped. I’ll get the schedule posted to the website once we make the determination of what the changes are going to be. Hi Vegas Youth Baseball Fans - We are looking for a 9u guest player for the upcoming MLK tournament. Please message me if you know of someone that is looking for a team to play with as a guest. Our guest player that was lined up had something come up.
