Mattia di Corato has represented his home country of Italy on the international stage in numerous regional and world championships

The Santa Clara University men's water polo program has added another elite international talent to its future roster, with the signing of Italian standout Mattia di Corato to a National Letter of Intent. Di Corato is set to begin his collegiate career with the Broncos in fall 2026.

The No. 17 Santa Clara men's water polo team led early and mounted a late push Friday, but third-seeded and No. 8 Pepperdine repeatedly countered and held on for a 20-17 win in the first round of the West Coast Conference Tournament at Air Force's Cadet Natatorium.
