Santa Barbara Lawn Bowls Club Santa Barbara Lawn Bowls Club is a volunteer-run nonprofit established in 1937. New bowlers welcome! Loaner bowls are available. Dress is casual.

Visitors are always welcome and introductory lessons are free. Please wear flat-soled shoes to protect the grass. Our facilities are available year round for private and corporate lawn bowls events. For further information, go to our website: santabarbaralbc.org

Presenting: The 2026 Eileen Morton 2-Bowl Triples champions! 🏆

This is SBLBC’s annual open tournament in honor of our dear friend Eileen Morton, and the only tournament in the Southwest with a Power Play! 💥 Teams from Cambria to San Diego to everywhere in between braved the temps and competed valiantly for the cup. This year ended with a three-peat victory for SBLBC’s mother/son/wife team, as well as some new and familiar faces taking 2nd and 3rd.

Maybe next year we’ll fill both greens since we’ll have our brand new turf! Someone has already suggested we play both grass and turf and call it a surf n’ turf. Who’s in???

Summer League winners have been crowned 👑 This was a season for the gents to shine! Both teams faced off against all-women’s teams who were reigning champs.

On the grass, The Bowl Crushers prevailed over last season’s champs The Triple AAA’s. And on the turf, Bowls Royce faced off against the Grass Gals. The competition was fierce, and then we all went from fierce to friendly over shared tacos. Thanks for the good times, everyone!

Celebrating 20+ years of service — before we tear it up and throw it away!

Join us Sept 10th, for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience a sunset session on our green with light bites, a cash bar, live music, and a few surprises before we send off the old surface in style. This is also our final push to close the gap on our new green fundraiser — every ticket gets us closer so invite a friend!

We hope you can join us and enjoy another beautiful SB sunset while enjoying the old turf in a way we never have before.

The Graffy Blind Draw Triples is a club favorite because it has arguably the coolest trophy 🏆 and honors the memory of former bowler Chuck Graffy. Hosted annually by his son in law Jim Garcia and, until recently, his daughter and Jim’s late wife, Erin, it’s a reminder that we’re bowlers forever and that this sport means so much to so many. 💚

$20 donation per bowler
12-end game of blind-draw triples
Buy ‘Gamechangers’ to gain advantages or stump your opponents
Raffle
Hot dog bar after the game

WHAT ARE GAMECHANGERS?
Gamechangers are advantages and disadvantages to help you win or trip up your opponents. And all of the money goes toward our turf fund!

😎Advantages give you a chance to get more points or make it easier for you to bowl well, like rolling a dice to triple your score on an end

😈Disadvantages make it more difficult to bowl properly, like bowling w/ a blindfold or with sock hands
