California Star Ball DanceSport Championships Join us Nov. 27-29, 2026 (Thanksgiving weekend) in beautiful Santa Barbara! Make your plans early for this destination competition like no other.

We cordially invite you to join us for the California Star Ball - Friday, November 25 - Sunday, November 27, 2022. Join me on Thanksgiving weekend for some fun in the sun, from the beaches to the valleys, from the award winning wineries to the top restaurants in the country. It’s been my dream to share with the world one of the most spectacular places on earth. I am excited to host you in my beautiful hometown known as the American Riviera, Santa Barbara, California. Over $80,000 in prize money will be awarded, including $6,000 in Top Teacher Award and Scholarship Awards. In addition to Scholarship Prize Money for our Pro/Am students, there will also be Scholarship Prize Money for our Amateur, Senior/Masters, Pre-Teens, Junior, and Youth competitors! Thank you Gitte Svendsen for believing in me to take over the longest running competition in North America.
