The San Marcos High School athletic program has a rich tradition of commitment to excellence in academics and athletics. Our scholar-athletes are dedicated to the rules of competition and good sportsmanship, while displaying trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship both on and off the playing field. articipating in our athletic program is a privilege. We are well-prepared, courageous and self- sacrificing team players. As Royals we always give our best effort in all that we do for ourselves and for our team. We lose with grace, win with honor, and strive through both to bring pride and respect to our school, our sport, our teammates, our adversaries and ourselves. Every decision made in our Athletics Department is based on “what is in the best interest of our students”.
