Paloma Flamenca Paloma Rios Flamenco specializes in Flamenco Dance Performance and dance lessons, spreading awareness and love for this beautiful dance form.

Paloma Rios was born in Santa Barbara, CA. She began dancing at age 3, decided to train exclusively in flamenco at 9, and began teaching and dancing professionally at age 15. In 2005 she earned the title of Spirit of Fiesta, the cultural ambassador to the city. After her post, she lived in Spain, learning from a wide range of flamenco masters. Upon her return to the U.S. she founded the Paloma Río

s School of Flamenco in California. In 2013 she retired from dance studio direction to focus on performance and choreography. Today Paloma performs in New York City and the surrounding area.

Thank you to for choosing me to show my work in progress, “FLAMEXICANA” at the Flamenco Certamen USA 2023. This is a project that has been years in my heart, and to for guiding me and giving me the courage to put myself out there…I couldn’t have done it without your mentorship and the Evolución program and residency!

There is much work to do still but I am grateful these ideas are coming to fruition, little by little, and that I am receiving the support to grow as a dancer and creator.

The popular FLAMENCO NIGHTS @ GALERIA music & dance concert series, presented by TEATRO Si, returns on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 7:30 pm at the intimate GALERIA arts venue, located at 111 Quimby Street in downtown Westfield, NJ.

Come join with popular flamenco dance artist Paloma Flamenca along with acclaimed flamenco singer and dancer Jose Moreno flamenco guitar master Pedro Cortes and accomplished violinist Ali Bello as together they bring to you an exciting evening of authentic music & dance in celebration of the internationally popular Flamenco Puro art form.

TEATRO Sí presents live concert performances of passionate music and dance for flamenco aficionados during each annual season. Along with special diverse guest artists, the experience reveals the pure emotional essence of this popular Iberian music and dance form. Together they celebrate the expressive flamenco as it takes on a new character and exposes the audience to the warmth of the human spirit as expressed through music and dance. The body movements and the facial expressions of the dancers join with the artistry of the musicians and singers to create a spectacle that is a treat for both the eye and the soul. Come experience an evening of Spanish gypsy culture with the casts of these captivating music and dance celebrations!
