Hip Hop Kidz Santa Barbara "Fun, Fitness & Friends through positive hip hop dance" Boyz & Girls - ages 5 and up Weekly classes held at local schools and Spectrum Athletic Clubs.

Hip Hop Kidz Santa Barbara is a dance/fitness afterschool program for boys and girls ages 5 and up, offered at various local schools and at Spectrum Athletic Clubs. Students learn contemporary and “Old Skool” hip hop dance. Students gain body awareness and musicality through choreographed movement and are encouraged to develop their own unique style through “Freestyle” time. Music is “clean” and d

ance moves are athletic, age-appropriate and gender-neutral. Hip Hop Kidz Santa Barbara Director is Jamie Green, a former professional dancer and children’s choreographer from Los Angeles. She choreographed the young Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen home video series, “You’re Invited” and was the talent scout for the national Hip Hop Kidz home DVD debut, “It’s a Beautiful Thing.” She was mentored by Hip Hop Kidz founder, Suzy Stone who has been running the Hip Hop Kidz program in South Florida for nearly two decades. (Who said hip hop was just a fad?)
