In the recovery membership, you get 24/7 access to the cold plunge, two full-spectrum infrared saunas, and normatec systems. ⁣

Upon signing up, we will coach you through your first cold plunge session, and give program recommendations for infrared sauna use tailored to your recovery needs - if desired.⁣

Hello Again!

Over the last few months, you might have noticed an extra tiny human meandering around the gym, don’t mind him - he’s a stray. Just kidding, WE HAD A BABY!
That being said, I was out on Maternity leave for 12 weeks, so it’s time to make a grand reemergence.

Welcome to Off The Grid! We are a small family owned gym in Santa Barbara, California who’s wellness community is centered around functional fitness, holistic health, and optimal living.

My name is Jade, I am a first time mom of the cutest 4 month old around, a fire wife, and a gym owner/Personal Trainer.
I specialize in corrective exercise and functional strength training. I focus on training for longevity, health span, and play span (aka. Making sure you can do ALL of the things you love to do as LONG as you live).

My husband’s name is Austin, he’s a local Firefighter/Paramedic, an Integrative Nutrition specialist, first time father (resident diaper changer), and the gym’s handyman. His passion lies with bringing health and wellness education to all, but particularly those in the first responder world -resiliance

Our elite trainers are ready to educate you on how to optimize your lifestyle through functional training, recovery treatments, and integrative nutrition. What Is Integrative Nutrition?⁣

What exactly is integrative nutrition? ⁣
Integrative nutrition goes beyond basic dietary guidelines. Getting rid of the calorie in, calorie out model and understanding that in order for our bodies to truly thrive, we must understand our own bio-individuality. In order to comprehend what’s “good to eat,” my job is to help you find out which foods work best with YOUR body, so it can function the way you need it to. ⁣
While looking at genetic predisposition, physiological, and psychological factors, integrative nutrition incorporates digestive health and the root cause of our imbalances. These can include but are not limited to: physical activity, personal relationships, social life, home environment, career, creativity, etc. Achieving your goal will be a process. All of these “burn fat, lose weight fast” fad diets can get you to a weight you might want to be, but utilizing integrative nutrition is the healthiest and more importantly, most sustainable way of maintaining a truly, optimal healthy lifestyle. ⁣

In Semi Private Training, you will still get all of the benefits of Personal Training but at half the price. Classes are based off of a functional training model and each participant’s program is unique to them. ⁣
