10 weeks of training.
25 Mighty Mermaids.
One unforgettable race day!

Our walkers and runners showed up, cheered each other on, and crossed that 5K & 10K finish line together.

And we’re especially proud that the Mighty Mermaids were the top fundraising team for Girls Inc, Santa Barbara — a local nonprofit that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold. 💜

We came into this season wanting to build strength and endurance. We walked away with so much more: confidence, friendships, community, and the reminder that we can do hard things—especially when we do them together.

To every Mighty Mermaid (and Mer-Man!) who trained, walked, ran, fundraised, cheered, encouraged and showed up for this team: YOU DID IT. 💪🏽

What a season. What a squad. Let’s do it again in 2027!!

That might be one of our favorite ways anyone has described Anderson Aquatics.

We work hard to create more than a place to exercise. We want the pool to be somewhere you can move, feel stronger, recharge, and be surrounded by people who genuinely support you.

Knowledgeable programs. A welcoming community. And, as this client so beautifully put it, a pool that feels healing and revitalizing. 💦

Busy weekend for our Pool to 5K/10K Squad! 🧜‍♀️💦

Yesterday, the Mighty Mermaids traded the pool for the playground for a full-body strength workout—because strong walkers and runners aren’t built by miles alone!

And today? We traded our swimsuits for brunch! Our team potluck is always one of the most anticipated squad traditions, and for good reason: good food, lots of laughs, and time together without a workout on the agenda. ❤️

This program may have started with a 5K/10K goal, but weekends like this are a reminder that it’s about so much more than crossing a finish line.

We’re building strength. We’re building confidence. And we’re building community. 💜

Less than FOUR WEEKS until race day! 🧜‍♀️💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Mighty Mermaids were back at it this weekend—putting in the work, cheering each other on, sharing plenty of laughs, and getting one step closer to that 5K/10K finish line. 💜

This squad is proof that training is about so much more than miles and workouts. It’s about showing up, staying committed, having fun, and doing hard things alongside people who make you want to keep going.

We started as a group training for a race. Somewhere along the way, we became a team.⚡️

Three years ago, we loaded up the car and met some of our favorite clients in Camarillo for the ultimate pool party! We had pop-up S’WET and Aqua Yoga classes, played our favorite pool games, ate delicious food, and socialized with friends at this beautiful Swimply pool. Who thinks it’s time for another mini retreat (maybe not quite as far away!)??

Balance isn’t just about standing on one foot… it’s about finding your people, too. 💙

Our small group training crew spends just as much time cheering each other on as they do working on strength, balance, and confidence. Between the laughter, the singing, and the occasional “Wait… what are we doing again?” moments, it’s proof that fitness doesn’t have to be super serious to be effective.
