Red Star Sailing Team

Red Star Sailing Team Actively campaigning to compete in the 2019 Transpac Race as the only youth entry which starts this We are Red Star Sailing Team.

Originally started as a youth junior big boat team focused primarily on youth big boat sailing, we have since evolved into a team that competes internationally in all different disciplines of sailing. We have teams frequently competing in national and international match racing events along with sailors competing in various big boat regattas.

Let's get excited! The starts for Transpac is just around the corner. Sadly, the Red Star Sailing Team will not be racing in the 2019 Transpac aboard "Weegie" due to delays in scheduling issues. However we will still be racing! We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support. We want to specifically thank Columbia Yachts for their contributions and Oakcliff Sailing for the use of the Columbia Carbon 32 “Weegie”. We found the yacht a delight to sail and ideal for the Transpac. We hope to have the opportunity to race it in the Pacific Cup 2020 and Transpac 2021.
