I love seeing this girl in her element. There’s a certain glow to her now that I’ve never seen before and to be 100% honest, wasn’t sure was possible to see before. My tip to you other husbands and significant others out there is this; always encourage the other person in whatever endeavor they pursue. Saying yes to a new opportunity is always exciting but also can be scary because we’re not always sure what we’re capable of. It’s extremely pivotal to have a support system to lean on when the times get tough. And believe you me, they will get tough! It’s like they say “if it were easy, everyone would do it” Look , my point is this. We’ve all failed. And we’re all going to fail again. The difference is having people in your life who truly love you. People that will put everything aside in their lives just to help you with yours. Those that will keep encouraging you to pursue your dreams even when they know you’ve failed and given up on yourself, those are the people you need in your circle at all times.

If you have any of your “friends” or even family members that are doing the opposite of this and just feeding negative thoughts in your head then I urge you to cut them out. Don’t give them the time of day. It doesn’t serve you now and never will. Those thoughts will eventually eat at you and consume you if you let them.

I don’t believe Amy would be as confident, spunky, and just all around as happy as she is now if she didn’t have this incredibly group of people who lift her up everyday. I know Amy’s been there for me time and time again and instilled that belief in me when I needed it most. And I’m always gonna do the same when the time comes and she knows that. Amy, I’m so proud of you for what you’ve accomplished this far and extremely grateful for the supporting cast around us that doesn’t let excuses get the best of us.

Words cannot express how proud I am of my woman and her many accomplishments. I say mine because I have to keep reminding myself... I find it hard to believe that I could deserve someone so hard working and dedicated to achieving her dreams. Amy earned her law degree this weekend after 3 years of studying at .

She did this while battling severe depression, moving nearly halfway across the country - back and forth at the midpoint of her studies, planning a wedding and getting married before her final year, as well as starting her own thriving business venture.

Amy, I know there were several times you wanted to give up. I know you had a ton of self doubt in various points of this process. The one thing that makes me so proud is that you never gave up. This was something you always had your eye on and you relentlessly chased to achieve. Even through all the setbacks, you looked up to God and loved ones when you didn't have the strength.

Many people can learn from your story so I thought I would share a bit of it. I love you and couldn't be more proud of you.
