As most of you know, Saturday was the last day of CrossFit 207. A perfect storm of inflation and commercial lease rates met over the last few months to make staying in business impossible. There’s really nothing else to say…this sucks.
I have been a member of CrossFit 207 for 10 years. It helped me get into the best shape of my life and conquer chronic back issues, for which I am forever grateful. But CrossFit 207 has always been more than a gym, it’s been a supportive and friendly community. It’s been a place where you’re not afraid to learn, or try, or fail because you know someone always has your back. And we’ve done enough burpees to know that if you get knocked down, you just get back up and possibly jump to a target.
I have worked hard to try to preserve this community through a very difficult time and I couldn’t have come this far without the help of all of you. The coaches and members that have made up this community over the years are some of the most driven and talented people I have ever met. It has been a joy and an honor to coach, be coached or just workout with all of you.
PS-
I’d like to open the doors the next two Saturday mornings for members to compete the Open WODs. Doors will open at 9am on 3/5 and 3/12.
