Our clubhouse in located on Route 4 in Sanford Maine, just two miles south of the Route 109 intersection. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month, starting at 7:00 PM. Annual membership fees of $100.00 are due during the month of October of each year. An additional $10.00 NRA membership fee is added to this amount for all who are not currently active members and this amount is sent
directly to the NRA on behalf of the new member. The club's liability insurance coverage is procured through the NRA, which requires 100% member participation in order for this coverage to remain in effect. We currently maintain two separate shooting facilities. Both are accessible to members and their guests from sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year unless otherwise posted. The first is located in Sanford, adjacent to the Sanford Airport municipal complex. It consists of two covered 100-yard r***e ranges and a fully enclosed 25-yard handgun range. The second facility is located just off Route 9 in Berwick (9 miles from the clubhouse) and consists of a fully enclosed 200-yard r***e range, a fully enclosed 50 yard r***e range, a fully enclosed 25-yard handgun / rimfire range, a fully automated five position trap range, and a multiple 3-D archery course which surrounds the property's 47 acre perimeter. We also have a multiple bay cowboy / action shooting area, complete with building facades. In addition to the many r***e, handgun, and archery shooting programs currently offered throughout the year, the Club also makes available various instructional programs. Hunter Safety, ATV, Snowmobile Safety, and concealed weapons license courses are taught by NRA and Maine Certified Instructors, most of whom are members of the Club. Members are encouraged to participate in many of our other programs and events such as the Acton Fair, Youth Field Day, Junior Shooters, Kids Fishing Derby, and the semi-annual gun shows held in the spring and fall of each year.
