We had a great race on Aug 5th at the Sanford Lions Club! First off, thank you to the Lions Club for letting use their field and Wayne for letting us in Early! We set up a course about the size of the GQ and incorporated some of the natural elements on the field. We had 1 new pilot this week, Grassy! We spent the first 3 hours practicing and qualifying and then split into 3 mains of Pro, Sport, Rookie/3". Tony Bracco aka "The Milkman" was the TQ and was able to hold off Andrew "Bigspeed" Brower all day. These 2 clinched the 1st and 2nd spot of pro, with a big gap over the rest of the field. I mean these 2 rank #20 and #88 in the WORLD! Mark "2dogrc" battled with David "zombee" OConnor, and Derek "DutchFPV" Donohue to pull in the 3rd place in Pro.
Vincent "PandaRoll3D" Rivera clinched 1st place in the Sport class. Darwin "Yorb" Campa and Eric "Bearhimself" Bircher were tied at the end of racing. The only way to decide the tie, a RACEOFF! Yorb was able to hold off Bearhimself for second place! Roger "Focus" Bess finished 4th. In a post race interview, he commented "I flew as well as I should have without practicing this week."
That brings us to our Rookie/3" class. Michael "Slow_Ride" Wayland and our newest pilot Kyle"Grassy" Amose were also tied at the end of racing. During the Raceoff, Grassy had a lead on Michael, but clipped a gate and was not able to relaunch on the first lap. Slow_Ride then completed all his laps to clinch the victory. He may be flying a 3" quad, but Slow_Ride is a consistent competitor and should be feared! There were only 2 pilots that completed every round or qualifying and racing back in the landing area, The Milkman and Slow_Ride! Carter "Gaterons" Brown was taken out of the race in the second round due to no more quads!

Roger and I would like to thank all the pilots that came out to race, help setup, help tear down, and make our new pilots feel welcome! The next race will be in Holly Springs under the Raleigh Rotor Racing Chapter! See you then!

We had a great race last weekend on the National Feast of the Ass day. The temperature was just at the old man minimum Roger and I use of 45 and sunny. During setup there were snowflakes ❄️, but nothing sticking. We set up a kinda quick course with a path through the woods for pucker factor!
Lots of practice then we ran a chase the ace of the B group. Z0mbee took the win and went on to battle in the A Main. Greg, Gmoney, was able to put in some heater laps and qualify for A main to put some pressure on the beast known as Bigspeed!
Bigspeed took the win followed by Z0mbee then Gmoney! Great racing and look forward to seeing more out as the weather warms up!
The course is on Velocidrone under FMR Carthage made by Gmoney!

We are currently working on a Whoop series up in the Raleigh area. I am thinking 1s 75mm max for the restrictions with prop guards required. The races would be 1-2 a month. Anybody interested in this?

Our annual Lee County Fair Race went amazing with some exciting racing all night long. Every year we are invited to put on a race by the Sanford Lions Club and it is one of our favorites.
We started the race with some practice, then qualifying until the sun went down and the lights came up! We finished the night with an exciting double elimination bracket. Tony Bracco, The Milkman, went into the brackets as the TQ, followed by Andrew Brower. During the brackets the battles in each heat were intense. There were 2 match ups of the on going rivalry between Roger 'Focus' Bess and Scott 'RollerCoaster' Walker with each winning one of the races! We had 2 newer racers CycolopsMd and Hondo getting some laps in and some race experience. The middle of the pack was full of back and forth battles with PabdaRool3d, Yorb, and GlutenFreeStew battling for those bump ups spots! Beef Supreme, BearHimself and 2dogrc showed very strong and anyone of the 3 had the potential for the final bracket, with 2dogrc and BeefSupreme making it to the finals race! DutchFPV, arrivied a little late but was able to move up the list with his ultra light frame very quickly, but not enough track time to get to the finals.
In the end, Bigspeed, The Milkman, 2dogrc and Beefsupreme made it to the finals. In the first race The Milkman took the ace with the fastest lap of the day, but Bigspeed was right on his rear props! In the second heat, The Milkman went down and Bigspeed took the ace. Race three the pressure is on for both pilots! The Milkman had a little contact with 2dogrc on the back stretch and damaged a prop. That was enough to give Bigspeed the advantage in speed to get the second ace! Bigspeed has now won 2 fair races in a row and is on a great winning streak going into Champs next month! 2dogrc finished with a second and 2 thirds for 3rd place and Beefsupreme with 2 4th's and a 3rd for fourth place. We would like to thank the Lions Club for inviting us to this event!

Yet another great Multigp race for the Fayetteville Multirotor Racing! We had 75 degree weather and with the help of Belmont Rick Speed we set up a swift and fun track in the woods! Our field is very unique with a ravine in the middle that adds about a 50 foot elevation change and we love to take advantage of that! Add in some ghost branches and a start/finish gate straddled by 2 large trees, there is always some excitement!

We did 7 rounds of qualifying and out TQ was Belmont Rick Speed! We then broke in to 2 groups of pro and sport and ran 5 heads up races to 3 laps. In the Pro group Rick had a commanding lead BUT James Rush aka RushFPV was right behind him. Roger 'Focus' Bess and Mark '2dogrc' Grohe continued their rivalry and battled for that third spot. One of the original racers was back with us, Josh 'BeefSupreme' Hyde and put in a great showing making it into the Pro bracket and even pulled a 3rd place finish in 1 heat. However it was not enough and SSBelmont took first, RushFPV second and 2dogrc third.

It the sport class Darwin 'Yorb' Campa was the TQ of the sport class and won all his heats except 1 in the finals. The battle real battle was for second third and fourth Edgar 'Re-Mex' Reyes, Josh 'GlutenFreeStew' and Michael 'Slow-Ride' Wayland battling in every heat to get as many points as possible and at the end of the day only 3 points separated the 3 pilots. That is amazing considering Slow-Ride was flying a 3"! In the end Yorb finished first, Re-Mex second and GlutenFreeStew third.

We would like to thank all our pilots for coming out and playing! If you are in the area or want to come fly at an exciting track that isn't a flat field with gates, check us out!
