Calling All Sanford Bats Lacrosse Players and Alumni to join us for the 9th Annual Donut Day 5K in partnership with the Seminole County Sunset Rotary Club. Coach Santana is a board member of the Rotary Club and will be present to lead the event run.

Proceeds from the run are 100 percent donated to the scholarship fund which is donated to local graduating high school seniors.

On Saturday morning May 30th, We will meet at 6:45am at 1061 S Sun Drive #1097, Lake Mary, FL 32746 to stretch for the run. Please bring your lacrosse sticks if you would like so we can pass a no bounce ball around as we run together.

Participants will receive a t-shirt for the race and a donut at the end of the race. This is an amazing community event and we hope to see y'all there to foster a strong sense of community and the Rotary Mantra of "Service above self."

Registration for Fall 2026 Season is open. Be sure to register in time for our early bird discount. We have programs for boys and girls youth lacrosse for Kindergarten - 8th grade. Sign up for the fastest sport on two feet for our recreation level youth lacrosse program!

A friendly reminder for the players, parents and coaches who watch our page. ❤️🧡 For the winning side - it’s not enough to just say “don’t shoot”, when you’re up 15-20 points. Don’t “play down”. Keep up the pressure, and keep it challenging for BOTH teams to get better. For the losing side - keep your head in the game. It’s not over until it’s over. When your team is down by a significant amount, you have to get creative and work together to intercept that ball or force change of possession.

Get creative. Stay strategic.

We 🧡 our SHS seniors!!!

We are thankful for all of you who participated as players and coaches for Sanford Bats Lacrosse Club. Thanks for giving our youth girls role models within their community to look up to! Good luck next year, and remember that you can put anything you put your mind to.

🧡🖤🥍 We are grateful to all of the players, coaches and family that make every game and practice possible. Lacrosse is a gift to us, for friendship and for life lessons.

Sometimes it gets hard, and we feel like we *have* to play. Remember you don’t have to play…you GET to play. Not everyone gets to play, so enjoy your time and let the love of the game come back to you if you’ve lost it. If you need help, remember you have a whole community of people ready to help you back in and make lacrosse fun again!

We’re on a mission to reach 100 registered players, and we need your help. If you know any boys or girls K–12th grade who might be interested in lacrosse, send them our way! Summer season and fall ball are quickly approaching.
