As a little 8 man team from Sanford, we didn't know what we were getting into with semi pro. After 2 years of chaos learning the ropes and then bringing Coach Dwight Gifford in to help us make a turn around, theTomahawks became a different organization. The last 3 years have been amazing. Year 1 under Coach Dwight, undefeated and eliminated in 1st round of playoffs, year 2 league champs, and this year, year 3, playoff elimination again. We greatly thank you Coach for all you have done and taught us as players and owners. Being the awesome person you are on and off the field, being a mentor to players, and showing them the respect they deserve even if it wasn't always received, relays your character as a great person. Thank you for your time and dedication. We greatly appreciate you and Katrina Gifford for love of the game you have shared! You will be missed as you move on to your next chapter as a coach!
