Futures Tour recap with the Freeski Squad 🙌 These shredders traveled to California, Utah and New Hampshire bringing home 12 medals (five 1st, four 2nd, and 3 three 3rd) and made lots of great memories along the way. Proud is an understatement 😤

No snow = no problem for the Mt Hood Teams! These shredders have been busy goal-setting, trampolining, skateboarding, balance training, flat bagging and hitting the rail line as we patiently await snowfall on Mt Hood 🙃 Thankful to have such a great campus to train on 🙌

STAFF SPOTLIGHT 🔦

Joe Johnson - Mt. Hood Team Head Coach

“I grew up in the cold lands of northern Minnesota where I fell in love with skiing and all things outdoors. I was on my local freeski team for five years and after graduating high school began coaching for the team. This was a highly rewarding job that kept me engaged in the sport of skiing as well as cultivated my passion for teaching and coaching. I coached in Minnesota for seven seasons before making the move out west in search of taller hills, deeper snow, and a longer ski season.

I came to the Mt Hood area in 2017 working as head freeski coach for a local team where I worked for 8 seasons building passion, grit, and integrity in the youth ski scene. I fell in love with the Mt Hood ski community and have made lifelong friends and memories.

I am grateful to be joining forces to share my love for the sport of skiing with the community here. I intend to build lifelong skiers and love for the sport with all who I work with here at camp, as well as honor and teach the values of passion, grit, integrity, and gratitude.”

Fall dry-land training kicks off this Friday September 19th. This program utilizes our facilities on campus to get you prepped for an epic winter. Including dry-slopes, airbags, trampolines, skateparks, and weight room.
