Who's with me?
We have seen lots of Samurai Cross handed out in the past few months and admittedly, the original routes are long, difficult, and require some singletrack skills.
So to not leave anyone out, we have a big announcement. New for the 2024-2025 Florida Bikepacking season we are challenging riders to complete the Quadruple Crown of Dirt Road Riding aka the Dirt Druple Crown. The challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to complete these four routes during the season.
- The Tango LiTe aka Tango through Hell 225 miles, October 5th, 2024
- The King's Road 209 miles, October 26th, 2024
- The Olustee Overland 129 miles, December 7th, 2024
- HuRaCaN LiTe 324 miles, February 1st, 2025
Those who participate can complete the challenges during the group start or as an Individual Time Trial. Your times will be recorded and at the end of the season, we will total your individual rides and then compare the overall times. Everyone who successfully completes the challenge will have their name entered into a raffle for a cool prize pack being offered by local Dirt riding and Adventure aficionados 4DATRIDE. All folks who complete their Quadruple Crown will also receive a special Patch and additional memento(TBA).
How do you participate? Send me an email that you intend to chase your Dirt Druple Crown at [email protected] and then register when the individual rides open up. I hope this next season you choose the path less traveled, test your boundaries, and shatter your comfort zones!
