Shoutout to this incredible group of people.

Every Wednesday morning I get the opportunity to lead them through a 60 minute workout. They never disappoint.

I truly don’t consider what I do a job. I love showing and leading people through my sessions.

I meet so many amazing individuals who each have a unique story and background. They workout for many different reasons yet when everyone comes together we’re doing it as one.

The personalities, the energy, it makes it fun.

There are always two goals of mine in every single session I have.

1. Work your tail off
2. Laugh and enjoy yourself

That happens every Wednesday with this crew.

Let’s keep it rolling and keep getting after it.

On to the next one.

Since January, I’ve had the privilege of leading the fitness program for the team at

It’s been a lot of fun watching this crew show up every week to get after it. It’s so much more than just a workout—it’s about building the camaraderie and mental toughness that translates directly from the gym to the office.

Investing in your team’s health is one of the most effective moves a business owner can make for their culture. Seeing this team support each other through the grind and bring that same focus back to their work has been incredible.

Truly grateful for the whole NTI crew for trusting me to lead the way. We’re just getting started.

The crew that rolled up this morning...

Appreciate every single one of you who showed up on the patio and put in the work. Everyone’s got different goals, but everyone’s getting after it together.

That’s what it’s about.

It was a hell of a workout from start to finish.

Great people. Great workout. Great time.

Stay tuned for the next Phil-N-Out Fitness Boot Camp.

Silo Falls was the place to be this morning.

Perfect weather, high energy, and a solid group of people who showed up to put in the work.

There isn’t a better way to kick off the weekend and start the spring season.

Big thanks to everyone who came out this morning.

The standards have been set.

Stay tuned for the next one—May 2nd. Mark your calendars. We’re just getting started.

Most busy dads don’t fail because they’re lazy.
They fail because the plan was never built for their life.
Here’s the exact framework I give my busiest clients — the ones with demanding jobs, full schedules, and zero time to waste.
3 workouts a week. 3 non-negotiables. And one simple rule about momentum.
That’s it. No overhaul required.
Save this and start Monday. Or DM me “MOMENTUM” and I’ll build you a version that actually fits your schedule.

Why can you walk for hours, but only sprint for seconds?

Because your body runs on three different energy systems.

1. ATP-PC (The Fuse)
Instant, explosive power. Think a max lift or short sprint.
Strongest gear, but empty in 10–15 seconds.

2. Glycolytic (The Redline)
Your sugar-burning system.
Powers hard efforts, but creates the “burn” that slows you down.

3. Oxidative (The Diesel)
Your aerobic engine.
Uses oxygen to burn fat and sugar for endurance.
If you can talk, this system is in charge.

Quick cheat sheet:
Gasping for air → mostly sugar
Holding a conversation → mostly fat

Know the systems.
Train the systems.

Go get it.

A run in the rain.

I knew it was going to rain… and I went anyway.

In theory, I was looking forward to it.
In reality? Still a fight to get moving.

That’s the truth about most things worth doing.

The hardest part of my entire day was the 10 seconds it took to walk out the front door.

That’s it. That’s the battle.

Whatever you’re avoiding right now — a workout, a hard conversation, a change you know you need — it feels heavy because you’re standing in the doorway staring at it.

But once you move?
Once you act?

You realize the rain isn’t that bad.
Momentum takes over.

Discipline beats motivation.
Action beats overthinking.

Stick to your word. Open the door. Go.

The feeling of progress?
Worth everything.

Go get it.

Today marks four years.

Four years of training with Dawn and Sunny.

Every single week, without fail, they show up.

Four years ago, these two best friends came to me with a clear goal: improve their balance, coordination, and functional movement for real life.

Most people have trouble sticking with a program for a couple of months. These two have logged four straight years. That's a standard.

It doesn't matter if you're training for an Ironman, chasing a six-pack, prepping for a competition, or just trying to get off the couch.

Movement needs to be a non-negotiable part of your life. Period.

Exercise is essential to your overall well-being. It teaches you discipline that carries over into every other aspect of your existence.

Taking care of your health makes you a better human being—a better parent, a better business owner, a better friend.

You might think you don't need it. That's only because you haven't seen what's on the other side. One day a week. Three days a week. Every day. It doesn't have to be a gym.

Just move.

Your physical state impacts your mental state. Your energy impacts your entire day.

Dawn and Sunny are proof of that. The job will never be complete and there is no finish line to getting better.

You just keep putting in the work.

A few weeks ago, Katie reached out to me. She didn’t lead with her goals; she led with the truth.

She said: "I’m looking for a trainer. I was diagnosed with cancer and have been losing a lot of muscle mass. I need something short-term—I’ll have surgery in Feb, and then I’ll have to recover. It’s going to be a wild ride. If this isn’t something that works for your business model, I totally understand."

I told her I didn't care about the duration. I just wanted to help.

Most people would spend this month on the couch waiting for the surgery. That’s the "normal" thing to do. But Katie’s been a firefighter for 20 years. She told me she wanted to be proactive and get after it now so she’s mentally and physically ready for what’s coming.

The reality is that after this surgery, she’s out. She won't be able to drive or do anything for 6 months.

Most would ask, "What’s the point of training for 4 weeks just to be sidelined for half a year?"

The point is that we don't always have control over what happens to us, but we sure as hell have total control over how we react.

Katie is choosing to work out and feel better going into this rather than just sitting on her ass. I respect the heck out of that mindset.

Truly an honor to work with you, Katie. Go get it.
