Friday Mixed League

Hope everyone enjoyed last Friday's game. Winners were Alicia & Tom Pizzuto with Donna & Dan Hartnett, congrats! Long drives on No. 9 were hit by Libby Jones and Andy Foote--great shots!

This week's game is a four-person scramble combined with two-person Chapman Scotch, hope everyone enjoys it.

Friday, September 11, is our 20th Battle of the Sexes, hoping for a great turnout! This year's format is a two-person Captain & Mate, where teams of two women or two men sign up together as a team. Teams then make their own foursomes, which can be any combination of golfers. We are trying this format for the first time to see if people like it, so let us know what you think.

Golf for the Battle is a sh***un start at 4 p.m., with registration at 3:30. Following golf is our traditional lasagna dinner in the clubhouse. Cost is $3 for the game and $25 for the dinner. If you cannot make the golf, we hope you can come for dinner. Feel free to bring dinner guests.

Signup for the Battle is on our bulletin board in the pro shop. Please sign up by Tuesday, September 8. If you cannot sign up in person, please call the pro shop at 315-387-5297 to register.

Winnings for this summer are posted on our bulletin board and can be used this season in the pro shop our restaurant. Check it--you may have credits to your account.

Start with an 18-hole, 2-man scramble qualifier with the Top 20 teams advancing to a 9-hole shootout!

🔥 Group A: Positions 1–10
🔥 Group B: Positions 11–20

💰 Plus $1,600 in skins!

Last Friday's game involved drawing playing cards to see who hit the tee shot on each hole. Winners were Kim Hilton and Matt Hathway with Alicia and Tom Pizzuto, congrats!

There will be no golf this week while our men compete in their Member-Guest Tournament--good luck to all!
