M/V Sasea Travel with us aboard M/V Cheeta taking us on Autumn's Journey from Cape Cod Massachusetts along the east and west intra-coastal waterways to Bradenton FL.

Welcome to Autumn’s Journey. A cruising adventure that will take Ann, Harry and their cat, Autumn, aboard their boat Cheeta, a SeaRay 34 foot Amberjack express, from Cape Cod Bay to Tampa Bay. Autumn is a time of year when birds begin their migratory flight south to warmer climes with mariners navigating close behind in search of paradise. For us autumn 2013 launches our retirement and we plan to

follow the same nomadic route south along the east coast intra-coastal waterway in pursuit of finding a new nesting place. We have been preparing for this nautical adventure for 10 years. Our son, Ryan, calls it our "mythical" journey. A journey that will take us on a 3,000 (RT) mile intra-coastal voyage with a bird's eye view of coastal communities from Sandwich, MA on the Cape Cod Canal to Bradenton, FL on the Manatee River. 140 miles Snotty day. We left St Michaels at 6AM thinking winds would be lite. Big mistake. Winds in the Chesapeake blustery WNW 20-25. Head seas nasty 4, 6, 8 feet. Once thru C&D canal Delaware Bay choppy 1 footers. But the last 14 miles the seas built up to a 6-8 following surf. Arrived Utsch's Marina Cape May NJ by noon. Tired hungry relieved to be safely back in port.
