Richard’s LiveaFit.Life Classes During Covid-19
“Get Free, Stay Free, Set Others Free” This is how I live my life. I’m writing this from a place of freedom, not fear.
One of the absolute joys of my life is my association with Parma In Motion and especially my relationship with Bev, Debbi, and Tessa. One of the great things about PIM is that there are no “bosses” We all share the workout space and the costs of keeping the lights on. I mention this as what follows is written solely by me about my LiveaFit.Life classes.
I am not afraid of the coming virus. I am fit and healthy and have not been to Europe recently. My initial attitude towards what has been happening has been disbelief watching fear and panic spread. The shuttering of the NBA, the MLB, and then the local schools were, I thought, a panic move. I was wrong. It’s the smart move as I believe that we all must do what we can to slow the spread of the virus and not overwhelm the healthcare infrastructure.
My reason for becoming a personal trainer and wanting to schedule public classes is to help people become fit, healthy, and free. I try my best to “practice what I preach.” For this reason, I am putting my classes on hiatus until at least Monday, April 6th. I’ll be posting some work-at-home exercises for you on the PIM page and my Instagram feed, so please follow me! In the meantime:
Eat Clean
Sleep Well
Stretch Every Day
Canceling classes was a difficult decision for me. I care for you all, and this decision is mine alone. As I said, the fitness leaders at PIM are independent, and I respect their choices. I encourage you to attend their classes if you disagree with my choice.
Keep Moving, Stay well, Wash Your Hands!
Richard
I’ll see you on the other side of this.
