HUGE news: the Long Bridge Half Marathon 10km and 13.1 courses are USATF-certified for 2026!

You can now run along beautiful Lake Pend Oreille *and* qualify for other races with a time standard, like Bloomsday second seed and the NYC marathon 🥳

We admit--it IS a little early to be thinking about spring but the Spring Fun Run is our last race of the series to be featured and the oldest race in Priest Lake! Celebrate the season change at the Spring Festival May 23-24 with food, crafts and a little road running to round out the weekend. Distances include 10km, 5km and the Kids' Dash. The Fun Run sells out most years so you'll want to plan ahead!

🏊‍♀️🚴 Swim, bike, run 🚵🏃SUNDAY, August 30 with us! Our sprint triathlon courses to be both beginner-friendly, exciting and fun for individuals, relay teams, roadies and dirt lovers! So grab your friends and sign up asap to take advantage of our 🍂 Fabulous Fall Fees discount 🍂 through October 15.

NOTE: The 2026 PLT is on SUNDAY to improve your race experience with better parking and less traffic on the courses. Start/finish is at Hill's Resort , so if you're coming from out of town, be sure to book your accommodations right away at Hill's or nearby at Elkins Resort on Priest Lake !!

Choose your distance from 50km to 10km and enjoy forested courses through the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, starting and finishing at Hill's Resort

Stunning scenery, a flat-and-fast course, medals and more! The Long Bridge Half Marathon is more than a half--we have distances for everyone including the 5km on the Sand Creek Trail, and the 10km and 13.1mi over the Long Bridge.

And if crushing your first race of 2026 isn't enough, we challenge you to The Dual! Finish the LBHM half marathon in May, and the Long Bridge Swim in August, and you'll earn a special Long Bridge Duathlon medal at the finish line of the Swim. No special entry required; just sign up and finish both.

SANDPOINT 🏃🏽‍♀️ It’s no secret that many of us run for solace, meditation, even therapy. So you won’t want to miss this film, Feel It All, next Thursday at the Panida. It’s the story of pro skimo athlete Drew Petersen who trains for Leadville while suffering from suicidal depression. Drew will also be here(!!) for a post-film conversation about mental health.

This is a benefit for the Ethan Murray Fund, which tirelessly seeks to bring mental healthcare access to those who need it most in our communities. Tickets are limited! Get ‘em at panida.org

Marathon weekend is here! And not just the 26.2--Priest Lake Marathon offers a range of distances from 50km down to the new Lakeshore 10km. So if you have some late-summer fitness you're looking to test, we have a distance for you.

🌲 Register online through Friday 9/12 at 6:15am.
🌲 Procrastinators can register at packet pickup on Saturday morning--get there early and bring cash/check. Race day prices are on the website.
🌲 Be sure to READ THE FINAL INSTRUCTIONS before race morning so you don't waste time on parking and other important details.
🌲 Check the weather and be prepared what's forecast.

👟 What shoes should you wear? Whatever feels most comfortable for the distance you signed up for. PLM is a gravel race, meaning it's 100% on roads, mostly unpaved but some asphalt. There are short loose, rocky sections but it's *mostly* a smooth-ish course and everyone perceives it differently. Tell us after what YOU think of the course!
