People that know me on a deeper level know my true thoughts on Christianity, and to be poignant, with deliberate notion, I'd say that this verse sums it up to my fellow theologians.

James 1:27. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

To me, to love God, to love my Higher Power, the God of my understanding, is to have love and hope in my heart. Life without an understanding that we are but a spec of dust is to be overwhelmed.

Life is overwhelming. Life is stressful. But with love, and compassion, and the strength of God's HOPE in my heart, I know that I don't have to understand everything. I know that I don't have to figure it all out or finish everything on my list. All I have to do is stay present in God's love today. If I remain in HOPE then everything will be ok. God gave me brains to use to propel me forward and he gave me hope to permeate HIS love as I trudge through life, showing love to people who don't know about Jesus.

If you help only one person and show God's love to them, you have succeeded in life.
